TFE28 PTFE (Teflon) Fiberglass Cloth Tape is designed for insulating vacuum sealer machines, heat sealing bars, and electrical equipment. Made from PTFE-coated fiberglass cloth with high-temperature silicone adhesive, it delivers excellent chemical resistance, low friction, and durability in demanding environments.

With a 2.8 mil PTFE fiberglass backing (5 mil total thickness including adhesive), this tape provides a reliable anti-stick, heat-resistant barrier that helps prevent build-up, improve sealing performance, and protect heating elements from damage caused by worn or deteriorated tape.

Engineered for high-performance applications, it is resistant to heat, chemicals, abrasion, and mechanical stress. Ideal for use on heat sealers, conveyor systems, chute liners, guide rails, gaskets, bearing surfaces, and roll covers.

Operating temperature range: -100°F to 500°F (-73°C to 260°C), suitable for a wide range of industrial, packaging, and electrical insulation applications.

Applications:

  • Primarily used in heat-sealing machines.
  • Provides a good barrier for the separation of dissimilar parts.
  • Protects surfaces, helping reduce replacement parts.
  • Used in Roller wrapping, wire harnessing, squeak reduction, noise reduction, insulating, lining, shielding, protecting, composite bonding, and flash breaking.
  • Designed to insulate a variety of vacuum sealer machines and electrical appliances.
